BACK STAGE

The Back Stage was the first bar in the Winchester area that could be called a bar. 16 Micro-Brews on tap. Live music (mostly Blues) 5 nights a week. Unfortunately...due to VA state laws, the owners couldn't sell more food than alcohol. Later the building was re-opened as Sweet Carolines, a restaurant that later grew and survived the food curse. They currently use the art on their brochures and menu. Sweet Carolines is now the hottest blues club on the east coast. The print is available showing the Back Stage logo, the Sweet Carolines logo or the Old Town Bar & Grill Logo.

The piece started as a color photo taken in the daytime. It was then scanned into the computer. I picked a tranquil blue and rendered the picture in an artistic expression. I recreated the windows and textures of the building and then added the logos.
