DEMONIC POSSESSION

The piece started as an idea I had for a character in one
of my novels. A possessed priest, what a concept. Back in '93, I spent a
few days penciling, inking and coloring in the priest. By this time, my
white board had been smeared with colored pencils and ruined. Erasing and
cleaning the board only added to the damage. So I shelved the art for 5
years and then picked it up one day. I scanned the artwork in and finished
the character up. Smoothing out the pencil marks and color blends. Fixing
blemishes and adding highlights. I played around with a few backgrounds
and decided to add a few hoovering spheres. Then I went one step further
and created the protruding fingernail bolts. I couldn't decide which I liked
the best, so I made them both available.
