My first year in college, I was into "in your face"
graphics. Getting my feet wet in 3d imagery. We had the freshman art show
in three weeks and I had just learned how to recreate bricks in airbrush
class. I did quite a few pieces with the bricks. Each time coming closer
to the realism. I got a thing with bricks. I guess I feel it is a symbol
of man's technology of building. Being one of my first main airbrushes,
I used alot of colored pencil to help blend the colors. This later became
one of my trademark styles. The piece was my main feature in the show of
seven total pieces. I took home second place overall.
