Welcome To My World
Welcome to the world of Bishop Kane. An intelligent, college grad who is going broke applying for jobs. Working anything that will pay the bills, he sees and feels the injustices of the times. So he decides to change the world. Starting with the government, he sues the establishment for the infringement of rights on all U.S. citizens. This brings national attention to Kane. After losing the case, but winning the people's support, he uses the situation to announce his bid to be the youngest U.S. Senator. With the intentions of destroying government from within, he is elected to office and begins his assault. Soon after being ousted from office, for bad press and vocalizing his beliefs, Kane takes on the role of what some would label, "a cult leader" and others "a threat to society". He begins to educate people on his ideas. Having taken on many "followers", he becomes a target by the government, like all great leaders become.
Set up for the murder of his wife and daughter, Kane is sentenced to death. In a highly publicized trial, Kane pleads to society and society listens. Sparking a world wide cue against authority, which was labeled "the day of reckoning", Kane is rescued and put into power, to take control and in store peace. Kane goes on to create "the perfect world". A world of peace, no crime, no money, no homeless, no hate, no sicknesses, no more problems. So it would seem. One person gets the opportunity to see the before and after world in a different light. Her name is Alexander Jones. A news reporter that begins coverage on Kane from the beginning. In the midst of the lawsuit trial, she is sent to cover a government experiment to create a new fueling power. The test, which seems to backfire, scatters everyone involved throughout fractures in time. The government realizes, not only did they create a self contained fueling power, but they have discovered time travel and teleportation. Jones is sent almost one thousand years into Kane's future world, where surprisingly, many people have survived with the help of technology and life sustaining breakthroughs. Jones meets the wiser and very lonely Kane, who has spent most of his later life in isolation. Confused, constantly wondering whether he made the right choices and if they were worth the price. For now, he sees the democracy being reborn and new problems arising. He begins to feel the human, is unchangeable and will revert back to it's lowest level. Jones is forced to judge this "perfect world", Bishop Kane, and his actions. She will be put to the test of humanity, when she is given the opportunity to return back to her era, which she does, with the idea of changing the future. Jones will have to race against time. For Kane's future, is ran by a power hungry female who has her own agenda. This woman, sends the futuristic police back to stop Jones before she can alter the future. Jones seeks out Kane, years before he becomes a threat to society. With plans to kill him, she must now judge herself for what she is about to do. As she pulls the trigger, the timecops appear and retaliate. Both are killed, in what will be an unsolved murder and classified by the FBI. Time will be rewritten, but who will be the author. THE STORY TAKES UB A LOT OF MY PERSONAL BELIEFS AND IDEAS TO IMPROVE SOCIETY. I USED THE STORY AS A VEHICLE TO DOCUMENT MY FEELINGS TOWARDS THE WORLD AT THAT TIME IN MY LIFE. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE STORY, WAS TO PRESENT AN IDEA FOR A NEW VOTING SYSTEM THAT WOULD MAKE MOST OF GOVERNMENT OBSOLETE. |
