This was a fun project. I designed a presentation folder for a radio station 95.3. They play music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. They loved both designs. They went with one design for the folder. You can see it by clicking the 95.3 link. They had us print this design 5 feet by 3.5 feet. It was framed and mounted in the hallway of their studio. I took out their logos for this version. Because of the budget. They couldn't afford me to create something like this from scratch. The idea came very quickly while scanning through one of my creativity bibles, my clipart collection. I think their is close to 30 individual pieces in the picture. For layout purposes, I just rearranged the characters to get this design. Once they approved it. I brought each individual piece into Photoshop and rebuilt the design adding the color blends, light transparencies and shadings.
